Obituary for Donna Sipla
Donna Mae Sipla, age 73, of Stevens Point passed away peacefully at her home May 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
A Mass of a Christian Burial for Donna will be held at 10:30AM Friday May 19, 2017 at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 9-10AM with a 10AM Rosary in church.
Donna was born August 8, 1943 the daughter of Leon and Dorothy (Wuestneck) Sweet in Wisconsin Rapids. She graduated from Port Edwards High School. September 1, 1962 Donna married Thomas Sipla at Our Lady Queen of Heaven in Wisconsin Rapids. During Donna's 54 1/2 years of marriage she had five children who she loved dearly. Donna was very talented, she enjoyed playing her accordion, painting, crocheting, crafts, knitting, paper cutting, clay work, polka music, and growing and preserving her garden harvest.
Donna is survived by her husband: Thomas Sipla, 5 children: Katherine M. Eichsteadt-Seidl, Montese L. Choate, Leon M. (Bobbi) Sipla, Christina Ann (Matthew) Kalisz, Patti K. Sipla and son-in-law Louis Patton. 8 grandchildren: Zachary (Julianne) Eichsteadt, Joceyln Seidl, Donna Choate and fiancé Brandon Blend, Athena Nehls and significant other Elijah Hutchins, Jordan Sipla, Toni Sipla, Anastacia King, and Seamus Kalisz. 3 great grandchildren: Nevaeha, Eli, and Ellyanna and many friends will be forever loved and missed until together again.
