James and Marti Shuda - Founders A native of Stevens Point, Jim began serving the community of Portage County as a funeral director
in 1966. A 1958 graduate of Pacelli High School, he has served on numerous community activities including: The YMCA, Community
Foundation of Portage County, Optimist Club, Knight of Columbus - 4th degree, Lions Club, United Way, and Stevens Point Youth
Baseball. Jim and his wife Marti, a 1958 graduate of Rosholt High School, opened the Shuda Funeral Chapel in 1967 and together
have recently celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. They have seven children and 17 grandchildren.
Dean Shuda - Bottom Left Dean has been serving the community since 1985 as a licensed funeral director.
He has been active with many organizations including, Kiwanis, Stevens Point Youth Baseball, Plover Lions, St. Bronislava Grief
Ministry, American Legion Baseball, UW-Stevens Point Softball, Knights of Columbus, SPCC, PABA, and St Michael's Hospital Foundation.
Dean is a proud parent of two elementary age daughters: Kaitlin and Kelsey.
Kip Shuda - Bottom Right
Kip has been serving the community for the past five years. Active for eight years as a volunteer for Faith Care Givers. Graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Melissa Shuda
Melissa is a personal care giver and a former Hospice Worker. She assists in many aspects of Shuda Funeral Service including: Greeter, Funeral Assistant, and Pre Need.
Steve Hodgson
Steve has assisted with Shuda Funeral Service periodically over the past twenty years. Steve assists on funerals, visitations, and arrangements. He has helped families in pre arrangements and monument selections. Steve served the village of Plover for many years as a First Responder and is a teacher in the St. Bronislava Parish Religious Education Classes.

Lifetime resident of Stevens Point.
Graduated from Pacelli High School.
Worked at St. Michaels Hospital, in Physical Therapy for 17 years, then started a daycare business, which operated for another 17 years.
Married to Mike, has 2 sons, and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
Enjoys working with the public, and meeting new people.
